The Town of Colma received a grant from the Caltrans’ Sustainable Communities Program, funded through Road Maintenance & Rehabilitation Account (RMRA) – SB1, to improve safety and mobility for people who walk and bike along El Camino Real (ECR).
Currently, the Town is working with Fehr & Peers (Consultant) in developing El Camino Real Bicycle and Pedestrian Improvement Plan. The Plan will evaluate existing conditions along ECR from the County of San Mateo/Colma border to South San Francisco/Colma border, addressing bicycle, pedestrian and public transportation connectivity deficiencies. The Plan will develop a conceptual strategy to incorporate various improvements to enhance mobility, accessibility and connectivity for all modes of transportation along the ECR corridor.
El Camino Real in Colma has many challenges, needs, and opportunities, particularly for those walking and biking. Your input is valuable and essential to the Plan and we want to know what you think! If you would like to participate and learn more about the Plan, please visit the project website at https://colmaelcamino.org/
Thank you in advance for your input and participation in this Plan and making walking & biking on ECR in Colma safer!
