4 Juveniles Arrested/Loaded Firearm and Unreported Stolen Vehicle Recovered
Colma, CA – On 4/17/2020 at approximately 3:04am, a Colma Police Officer observed two male and two female juveniles enter inside a closed cemetery, located on the 1700 block of Hillside Boulevard. Officers made contact with the juveniles, who were attempting to hide inside the cemetery, and determined they were associated to a Dodge Charger that was parked on the street. The Dodge was an unreported stolen vehicle from another San Mateo County city.
A search of the immediate area was conducted, which included a freshly dug gravesite, and a semi-automatic handgun was recovered. Officers were able to retrieve the handgun from the gravesite without incident.
The juveniles, ranging from 15-17 years of age, were all Hayward residents. They were arrested for various felonies, cited, and released to their parents/guardians. The investigation is ongoing.
Attached are photos of the seized handgun and the gravesite where the handgun was located.
