California Water Services Company (Calwater) is replacing the water main and service laterals on the 400 Block of D street (between Clark Ave and the D St Stairway). The Town issued an Encroachment Permit for this work to Calwater and their contractor.
The scope of work under this project includes installing a new water main, fire hydrants, and connecting services to this new main. Roadway and sidewalk restoration will be performed once the underground installation is completed.
Construction is scheduled to start April 15th and is expected to be completed by July/August 2024. Calwater and their contractor will be performing work Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM. Access to driveways will be maintained during construction. Street parking in the project vicinity will be restricted during active construction and No-Parking signs will be placed in advance at these specific locations.
Calwater will provide a separate notice to all affected residents detailing the project scope, construction details, and their contact information.
