Failure to Register as Sex Registrant

On 10/13/17 at approximately 1022 hours, a Colma Police Officer observed a traffic violation in the 2800 block of Hillside Boulevard and conducted a vehicle enforcement stop. Upon making contact with the driver, a 64-year old male from Daly City, it was determined that the subject was in violation of his sex registration status, and had failed to register with Daly City Police to advise them of his new address after moving from San Francisco. The suspect was arrested and cited and released from the scene.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon

On 10/18/17 at approximately 1528 hours, Colma Police Officers responded to the 200 block of Colma Boulevard on the report of a man with a knife.  Upon arrival, Colma Police Officers made contact in front of the store with an adult male with a knife who had been chasing after a male and female.  Colma Officers ordered the male suspect to drop the knife. When he refused to drop the weapon, a Taser was deployed and the suspect was taken into custody with only minor scratches.  Further investigation revealed that the suspect had used methamphetamine a few hours before the incident and had an arrest history for drug charges and assault with a deadly weapon.  Great job Colma Officers for ending a deadly threat situation with a less lethal option!

Interrupted Burglary and Possession of Concealed Weapon

On 10/25/17 at approximately 1411 hours, Colma Police Officers were dispatched to the 1900 block of El Camino Real to the report of an interrupted burglary. Upon arrival, officers learned that the victim had arrived at that location and observed two male suspects in his rented space and rummaging through his personal property. A confrontation ensued and one suspect fled on foot and the other in a vehicle. Patrol officers reviewed evidence at the scene and developed possible identification of both suspects.

On 10/28/17, a Colma Police Officer was conducting routine patrol and spotted the suspect vehicle that had fled the scene from the burglary. The officer conducted an investigative stop on the vehicle and located one of the suspects who fled from the prior incident.  A search of the vehicle located methamphetamines, an illegal canister of pepper spray, a .25 caliber semi-automatic pistol, and burglary tools.

The suspect was arrested at the scene and booked into the San Mateo County Jail on multiple charges.

Possession of Concealed Weapon in Vehicle

On 10/25/17 at approximately 1555 hours, a Colma Police Officer was assigned to the San Mateo County Gang Task Force and assigned to patrol the San Mateo area when he observed a vehicle illegally parked in a handicap stall. The officer conducted a traffic enforcement stop on the vehicle and contacted the occupant. Further investigation and subsequent search of the vehicle located a loaded .40 caliber semi-automatic handgun and a loaded 30-round extended magazine concealed in the vehicle. The suspect was arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon on an Officer

On 10/31/17 at approximately 1715 hours, Colma Police Officers responded to assist the South San Francisco Police Department with a call regarding a battery that was occurring in a vehicle traveling northbound on El Camino Real. A Colma Police Officer located the vehicle and conducted an investigative stop in the area of El Camino Real and F Street.  The suspect vehicle came to a stop and began reversing back toward the officer. The officer was able to move to a position of safety. The driver, a male suspect, was arrested at the scene and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for the assault on an officer.

South San Francisco Police determined the female passenger was the dominant aggressor in their investigation and she was arrested at the scene.
