Mission Road Project Update: Workshop #2

Based on community input from Workshop #1, held on January 17, 2019, the Town has updated the design and will be presenting the project status and plan revisions for the purposed bicycle and pedestrian improvements along Mission Road. We invite you to join us to learn about the project and provide feedback on the updated design!

Changes Along Mission Road Include:
»» Closing sidewalk gaps
»» Upgrading curb ramps and sidewalk to comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
»» Extending bike lanes to provide continuous and safer bike routes
»» Re-configuring existing driveways to provide better access to businesses
»» Providing additional on street parking
»» Installing new mid-block crossings with high visibility crosswalks
»» Implementing storm water quality features to reduce pollutants
