Happy Holidays! As you know, the Holiday Season brings several special events to the Colma community. For specific event information, please call the Colma Community Center at 650.985.5678 or visit our website at www.colma.ca.gov for event days and times. The reorganization of the City Council has also been scheduled for Tuesday, December 9th at 6:00 pm at Town Hall. The meeting is open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend this annual event as we celebrate Mayor Gonzalez’s accomplishments and contributions to the Town of Colma over the last year. The Council also selects the new Mayor and Vice Mayor. Appetizers, cake and coffee will be served. We hope to see you there!
Beginning this month and continuing throughout the winter and beyond, The Town will begin some much-needed maintenance on street trees. Work will begin with priority removal and pruning of previously identified potentially hazardous trees, followed by the eventual pruning of all street trees to establish a healthy and sustainable urban forest. The Town will utilize the TextMyGov alerts, and all other media platforms to communicate when to anticipate specific work in certain areas and potential impacts it may have on residents, if any.
