According to the National Weather Service, a strong storm system & atmospheric river will bring widespread moderate to heavy rainfall & strong winds to the whole Bay Area from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday. This storm will increase the threat for widespread flooding and wind damage across the area, including possible road closures and power outages. We are encouraging the community to prepare for these conditions and be as cautious as possible.
A limited number of sandbags are currently available at the Colma Community Center, 1520 Hillside Boulevard. We will make more available as soon as we can. (Please note sandbags may be wet/messy to transport).
