UPDATED: CPD ARRESTS SUSPECT FOR ATTEMPTED HOMICIDE

Colma, CA – Follow up investigation by Colma PD Detectives led to the identification of the suspect in connection with the shooting and associates.

On 7/28/20, the primary suspect in this case was arrested by detectives and booked into the San Mateo County Jail for attempted murder, shooting into a vehicle, and other charges.

This investigation is still ongoing.

Colma, CA – On 06/30/20 at approximately 5:12 pm, Colma Police Officers were in the 1500 block of Mission Road when they heard what sounded like gunshots in the area. Upon investigation, officers located a group of males running from the area and a vehicle with damage.

After canvassing the area and speaking with witnesses, officers did not locate any victims suffering from gunshot wounds or any signs there were outstanding injured persons.

The motive and circumstances of the shooting are still under investigation, but this is believed to be a targeted incident with no threat to the general public. No suspect has been identified or apprehended at this time.
