Clinic by the Bay

Clinic by the Bay is San Francisco’s Volunteers in Medicine clinic — the 82nd VIM clinic in the country and the first in Northern California. Clinic by the Bay is a volunteer-powered free health clinic for the working uninsured. Their patients reside in San Francisco and San Mateo Counties.  As part of the national network of Volunteers in Medicine clinics, they engage retired and practicing doctors, nurses, and non-medical volunteers to provide compassionate, high quality health care, free of charge.

Daly City Youth Health Center

The Daly City Youth Health Center is a community wellness center providing excellent primary health care, counseling services, vocational internships, and comprehensive sexual health education for youth, ages 12- 24.  For the last 26 years, DCYHC has helped over 50,000 teens and young adults, living in Daly City, Broadmoor, Pacifica, Colma, Brisbane, South San Francisco and San Bruno.

HICAP of San Mateo County

HICAP (the Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program) offers free, unbiased and confidential, one-on-one Medicare counseling. Trained volunteer counselors can answer your questions and help you understand your Medicare rights and benefits, including how to appeal denials of coverage; Medicare supplemental insurance (Medigap policies); Medicare Advantage plans; employee and retiree coverage; and long-term care insurance. Representation at Medicare appeals or administrative hearings are also available.

Mental Health Association of San Mateo County

Mental Health Association of San Mateo Countyenriches quality of life, restores dignity, and reduces homelessness, particularly for those affected by mental illness and HIV/AIDS.
