Recreation Activity Guide

The Recreation Activity Guide offers information on programs, activities and events.  The Recreation Activity Guide is published three times per year and mailed to Colma Residents in the months of April, August and December.  Hard copies are available at the Colma Community Center, Sterling Park Recreation Center and Colma Town Hall.

Registering for programs can be made in person at the Sterling Park Recreation Center or the Colma Community Center, or online by visiting activecommunties.com.

If you are a Colma resident, please make sure you have an account login and password before visiting the active communities website.  Account log in’s and passwords are issued at the Colma Community
Center.  Colma residents who create accounts online will be charged the incorrect fees when registering for programs and activities.  Non Colma residents may create accounts online at any time.

The Town of Colma only accepts cash, checks and credit cards as forms of payment.  Residents must obtain a Colma ID card to be eligible for the resident rate.

Interested in Teaching a Class?

Do you have a special skill, hobby or trade, and would like to teach a class or workshop? We are actively recruiting instructors to teach classes in Colma. Updated Cancellation and Refund Policy

Any cancellation of a program registration will result in a total or partial loss of program registration fee. If cancellation of program registration is made at least fourteen (14) days in advance of program start date, a full refund will be issued.  If program registration is cancelled less than fourteen (14) days of program start date, a credit on account will be issued. No refund will be given. Medical emergencies or illnesses are exempt from this policy. However, a medical certification from your doctor will be required. Requests for program cancellation must be submitted in writing.  Any no shows or cancellations once program has started, no refund or credit will be given unless written medical certification is shown.
Certain programs may have specific refund policies (such as Ticket Sales, Field Trips, senior programs and ect.) This will be clearly stated on registration sheets for those programs.
